Winds of Change

It's been a couple of weeks since I posted. I haven't been really motivated to do the "usual" postings; constantly trying to find curvy content to cover to make sure I can post is not really what I want to do. I have always been a curvy girl who loves fashion to her core and since I was 10 pinning up drawings on my mom's office wall I've wanted to be a designer. Strangely, despite the urgings of friends, until about a year ago, I didn't think to design for the curvy set. I always designed for the skinny girl I wished I was, not the gorgeous plush girl I am.

In thinking of where I want to go career wise, and where I want to take this blog, all roads lead to fashion. For the last few years I've not enjoyed my career as a trader; I thought I would, but I didn't. It's as interesting as I thought it would be, but no other career than designing will make me happy so I'm going all in. My job ended about a year ago. I looked for work but not finding a new job I've decided to forge through the fear and do what I should have been doing all along. Going forward, this blog will be a record of my journey to the career of my dreams: A Fashion Designer. I will still write some on beauty and plus size happenings but it will mostly be about my road to the place I want to be.

Whether you love where you are, or are on a journey, be fabulous now.
